Kringle Cream

Cream Spirit with
Natural Kringle Flavor

Originating from the Old Norse word kringla, meaning ring or circle, the Kringle is a hand rolled Danish pastry that has been rested overnight before being shaped into an oval, filled with fruit, nuts and spices, baked and topped with deliciously sweet icing.

Dolin Blanc Vermouth

The clear, sweet Blanc variety of vermouth was first created and made famous by Dolin in Chambery long before Italian producers replicated the style as "Bianco". The Blanc is famously served with a sliced strawberry, a splash of soda and a twist. There may be no better choice for cocktails such as El Presidente or a Blond Negroni. In other cocktails, Dolin Blanc pairs well with blanco tequila, unaged whiskey or other flavorful clear spirits.  It is ideal for infusions of melon or other fruit and an appetizing accompaniment to a wide varirty of cheeses.

Springtime Negroni

1oz. Damrack Gin
1oz. St. Germain
1oz. Dolin Blanc Vermouth
Splash of Fever-Tree Soda Water
1 Spring of Fresh Thyme

Cocchi Americano Bianco

Aperitivo simply doesn’t get more refreshing or delicious than this. This is an aperitivo for the everyman and the everyday - lightly bitter in an uplifting more than bracing manner, subtly floral and refreshingly herbal with a really pretty citrus afterglow.

It’s been made in Piedmont in the same way since 1891 by lightly fortifying local moscato d’Asti with brandy before infusing it with the likes of gentiana and cinchona bark, herbs and citrus peel. The results, fragrant and coolly sweet-bitter at just 16.5% alcohol, make it an easy pick-me-up as well as a pretty and subtle game-changer in classic cocktails like the Corpse Reviver No. 2.

Cleveland Black Reserve

Cleveland Black Reserve whiskey is officially labeled a bourbon meaning the spirit must be aged in charred new oak barrels for a period of time prior to bottling, whatever other modern technologies are used (note: straight bourbon would require 2 years... there is no such "straight" on the label). Additionally, the whiskey will have no additives whatsoever... again, despite whatever technologies are used. Since the Cleveland Whiskey process takes 6 months, we guess that the bourbon is acquired from elsewhere and given the additional treatment on site, then bottled and distributed.

Grand Marnier
Raspberry Peach

Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach, which is the second limited-release spirit in The Grand Marnier Signature Collection Series following Grand Marnier Cherry. Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach combines European raspberries and red peaches from Ardèche in the South of France, which are blended with Grand Marnier’s signature orange essence and premium-quality cognacs sourced from the Cognac region and aged in French oak barrels.

Ardbeg Ardbog

Nose: Sea salt and brine with some dark fruit and hints of barbecue. Maple syrup, plum, orange, mint and more herbal notes with a touch of tomato vine. White coffee develops.

Palate: Big - it feels like all the moisture is being sucked out of your mouth at first but in a good way(!). Salt crusted raisins, rich nuttiness, pickled onions. Sounds odd but it’s honestly superb!

Finish: There's red chilli heat on the finish as well as paprika.

Overall: Ardbeg should be celebrated for their measured use of Manzanilla casks here - one of the best bottlings at Fèis Ìle 2013.

Templeton Rye

Medium-amber color, citrusy aromas opening up to caramel scent. Big flavors of tobacco, oak, and leather lead to a lingering, tannic, alcoholic and slightly bitter finish. Cocktail purists will love the label showing old-time gentlemen in hats tippling at the bar.

Bulleit Bourbon 10 Year

Caramel and vanilla wrapped around a fruity core of orange and red apple. The wood notes ramp up quickly at mid palate. Barrel spices abound (cinnamon, clove, and a bit of licorice bite) without being overly dry.

English Harbour Rum

This English Harbour selection is aged in American oak casks for a minimum of five years, and is applauded by rum connoisseurs as an impeccably smooth, light-bodied rum that is truly superior in flavor. Amber and toasty with molasses and brown sugar notes, smooth and spicy with lovely mellow caramel, citrus and spice.

Oyo Whiskey

We have finally been able to secure Oyo whiskey at Arrow Wine. This is a simple cask small batch whiskey made from Ohio soft red winter wheat. Made in Columbus, Ohio this is a very smooth, soft whiskey with a peppery vanilla taste.

Citadelle Gin

Citadelle Gin is a French gin distilled from wheat and 19 different botanicals, including juniper, coriander, citrus peels, star anise, fennel and cinnamon.  It’s the only gin on the market distilled in a Cognac pot still over an open flame. That fact and all those ingredients combine to form a very interesting spirit.

IXA Organic Silver Tequila

This is a silver tequila with a flavor profile that can rival many of the aged tequilas found on the market. It is both rich and clean on the palate and finishes with a tantalizing butter aspect that is rarely found in this type of spirit. One will find it to be a pleasant sipper and a versatile mixer.

Centerville location only.

Bacardi Oakheart

A bold, spiced rum straight from the heart of charred oak barrels with an amber hue, a hint of smokiness and unique velvet-like smoothness.  Rich and oaky on the nose, with hints of smoke and dried fruit, this exceptional spiced rum has a robust flavor that stands up to any challenge. Slightly sweet and peppery with a noticeable rum-kick, Bacardi Oakheart tastes great straight or combined with cola and served over ice in a chilled stein glass.

Centerville location only.

Oyo Stonefruit

OYO Stone Fruit Vodka presents a soft, sweet nose with fragrant floral notes of apricot and wildflowers. The spirit itself has a medium-full body, rich with flavors of tart cherry and citrus peel. The bright tart-cherry anchors the spirit’s center, and is gently rounded with the slightest note of almond, which finishes smoothly into an homage to Ohio’s sweet yellow peach. The spirit coats the tongue from front to back, with closing notes that are minerally and complex, balancing both sweet and tart in perfect harmony.

Bacardi Anejo

Bacardi Anejo is a blend of rums that have been aged for up to six years in oak barrels. This aging lends smoothness and sweet notes of vanilla and caramel. Enjoy this rum neat or on the rocks.

Stirrings Ginger Liqueur

This Ginger Liqueur has an authentic taste and sweet, spicy finish. A truly original addition to specialty cocktails, you'll have guests trying to figure out what makes their drinks taste so good.

With the aromas of fresh-grated ginger and a flavor profile featuring the warm, woody spices of gingersnap, this should be a staple on your shelf for those times when you really want to serve something memorable.

Luxardo Maraschino Cherry Liqueur

The liqueur's distinctive flavor comes from the Marasca cherries, and the crushed cherry pits lend an almond-like flavor to Maraschino. Honey is also part of the ancient recipe. The distillate matures for at least two years in ashwood vats, since this wood does not lend its colour to the liqueur, and is then diluted and sugared. It is typically bottled in a straw-coated bottle.

Hangar 1 Vodka

Rabarbaro Zucca Aperitif

Ettore Zucca created this Rabarbaro (rhubarb root) Liqueur in 1845. Zucca was a favorite in the Royal House of Savoy and across Milan for it's deep, rich and smoky flavors. As it's house bitter, the Cafe Zucca in Galleria serves Zucca with soda or tonic on crushed ice, for a light, low alcohol aperitif. Zucca is also delicious with grapefruit soda, espresso or as a source of smoky depth in rum, tequila and whiskey cocktails. With tonic, lime and ice (and perhaps a spot of rum), it makes for a refreshing and complex variation from a classic rum and cola.

Swagger Cocktail

1 1⁄2 oz Gin
1⁄2 oz Aromatized wine, Dubonnet
1⁄2 oz Amaro, Zucca
1⁄2 oz Grapefruit juice
1 wdg Lime (as garnish)

Shake, strain, up, garnish.

Aperitivo Cappelletti

The Aperitivo Cappelletti, endearingly known locally as just "Specialino", may be the oldest style of the classic red bitter still in production. Unlike it's larger commercial rivals, Cappelletti is less sweet and has a wonderful drying finish. Additonally, it still uses natural carmine color for a crimson red and retains a vinous texture from it's wine base. It offers a vibrant and flavorful profile, complemented by bitter undertones on a traditional wine base. This yields a Negroni Spritz that is dry and refreshing in the finish. It is made by the Cappelletti family, along with a number of other exceptional aperitivi and amari, just outside of Trento in Alto Adige.

The War of the Pacific

2 ounces Pisco 100
½ ounce Cappelletti Vino Aperitivo
1 ounce grapefruit juice
¾ ounce lime juice
¾ ounce simple syrup
1 egg white
Dash of Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with no ice and shake until the sugar and citrus begin to meringue. Strain into a collins glass with ice. Garnish with Angostura bitters on top and twirl for aesthetics.

Belle of Dayton Vodka

Byrrh Grand Quinquina

Byrrh Grand Quinquina is made to the original late 19th century recipe that earned worldwide fame and inspired fifty years of evocative poster art.  Byrrh combines a generous, port-like wine and mistelle base with a firm backbone of natural quinine to produce a fruity, refreshing aperitif by itself, with tonic a twist, or alongside blue chesse. In cocktails, Byrrh mixes well with vodka, gin, cognac, tequila, Irish whiskey and grapefruit. Byrrh is produced in Thuir, in the heart of French Catalan territory, near the coast and border with Spain.

Right Gin

Right was created by Altamar to bring some excitement back into a sleepy category. It is gorgeous nude and mixes beautifully – which is to say it makes a fine martini and is just as good in a mixed cocktail. The grain base is corn, which lends an accessible sweetness while the finish is crisp and clean. The unique blend of botanicals is enhanced with a twist of orange, which brings up the bergamot sourced from Sicily. Its dress evokes sophistication, elegance and the notion that there is a right way to do everything. Right is blended outside Malmo, Sweden near its water source at Lake Bolmen.

Nolet's Dry Gin

Nolet’s Silver uses a number of botanicals that have not previously been combined in a gin. Of course, the usual suspects are there, including citrus, orrisroot, licorice, and naturally, juniper. But there are other, more unusual ingredients as well, including white peach, raspberry, and Turkish rose. The result is a velvety-textured 95.2-proof gin that is slightly sweet and thickly floral, thereby setting the stage for what may become an entirely new generation of cocktails.

Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve

The Single Barrel Reserve is aged nine years, the same as regular Knob Creek. The main attraction here, as others have noted, is the proof. It clocks in at a heft 60% alcohol, giving the whiskey a heat your nose detects right off. It makes an excellent, if heady Old Fashioned, the dashes of water and sugar aiding in sanding off the rough, firey edges here. If you like Knob Creek, you'll like this. It's a superior Bourbon.
